“Janseva Pratisthan” has been Implement Project on “Resilient and self-reliant rural communities leading towards sustainable and thriving economies in Yavatmal District”.

Project Target Area-

Total 160 Villages from Babhulgaon, Ralegaon and Pandharkawada block of Yavatmal District of Maharashtra.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

• To improve climate resilience contributing to food, nutrition, livelihood security of Households.
• Enhance agriculture incomes through value chain approach.
• De-risk households by stabilizing their income sources and diversifying income sources
• Support financial independence for women and increased role in decision making.

Focus area of Project

Climate Resilience for Sustainable Development (CR4SD) - Reliance Foundation aspires to build climate smart & resilient communities through various interventions such as adopting Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA), adoption of efficient irrigation & management of water resources. 

Integrated Value Chain Development (IVCD) – Reliance Foundation will seek to unlock value for farmers in identified crop value chains through interventions from sowing to end consumer markets.

Diversifying Rural Incomes via Women Entrepreneurship (DRIWE) - De-risking Household incomes by diversifying into agri-allied and non-farm sources and also capacitate women SHGs who then branch out as micro-entrepreneurs.

Digital Literacy – Digital Literacy refers to the ability of individuals and communities to understand, access, and effectively use digital technologies for meaningful actions in everyday life. It includes the skills required to operate devices such as computers, smartphones, and tablets, as well as the ability to use the internet to find information, communicate, and complete daily tasks.
